Wenger: Consistency would be to reward

Arsenal could only draw 1-1 against Everton in the advanced stage of the Premier League last week. However, the team remains atop the standings with a 5 digit advantage over second place Liverpool.

However, Arsene Wenger still reject the label prospective team Premier League Arsenal given. It was reaffirmed in an interview he conducted shortly after the match against Everton ends.

"During our five points, you can not call us ran alone in front, even if you mean it," he told Arsenal.com.

"So let's set aside the convenience of it. This shows that the Premier League would be very difficult and consistency will be rewarded in kind at the end. Consistency for us is an attempt to keep this attitude until the end of the season," added Wenger.

Middle of this week, the Gunners will travel to the San Paolo to face Napoli in the Champions League. (ars / rer)
